💗💗💗💗I agree, dear professor. One of Michael Ondaadje´s obsessions is to make clear that History books do not include all those nameless people who contributed to the History of humanity. He always mention them .Also " In the skin of a lion". We are all communal histories, communal books....

He is a man of the desert, a man who does not believe in boundaries , in possessions but who feels respect for his ancestors , for all those people who lived in "The cave of swimmers". A sacred place where past (water) and present(sand) converge towards the future. Eternity.
