  1. Hemingway´s writing style is opposed to Wilde´s . It lacks verbosity and embellishment or even wit. However , his "iceberg theory " or "omission theory" is not far away from Wilde`s ideas...."those who go beneath the surface, do so at their own peril. Those who read the symbol , do so at their peril. It´s the spectator, not life, that art really mirrors..."....
